An earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale rattled Nepal on Tuesday afternoon. The seismic activity comes days after a 7.9 magnitude earthquake devastated the Himalayan nation and even claimed many lives in the adjoining states of India.
Tuesday's strong quake, which is being considered a part of the series of aftershocks of the April 25 earthquake, was severely felt in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, while there were tremors in Rajasthan, West Bengal and some other parts of north and east India.
In the national capital, people rushed out of their buildings out of hear. Many posted their reactions on micro-blogging site Twitter.
